Artists have long been drawn to the sea and ports as sites for inspiration and creative interrogation. The present volume of essays and artworks is concerned with the maritime world, from the coast and the harbour to the open sea, and its rich history of transformation, encounters, and navigations, as well as transnational and transcultural formations. To be followed and activated within an exhibition at @ausstellungsraum_klingental in May 2026.
